Adobe ETLA License Operational Changes

Due to changes in Adobe's licensing policy, the operation method of Adobe ETLA will be changed as follows.
We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding and cooperation in optimizing operations so that we can continue to provide the comprehensive license.

Overview

  1. Starting from the fiscal year 2026 application, the distinction between "Personal use license" and "Shared PC license" for eligible PCs will change as follows.
    Please refer to the Flowchart (PDF) to see which category fits your usage.
    For details on the changes, please refer to Changes in Adobe ETLA License Operations (Details).
    • Personal use license: A PC used exclusively by the individual (installation on multiple devices is permitted).
    • Shared PC license: A PC shared with others on campus.
      Cannot be used off-campus. Users must authenticate with their Keio ID to use it.
  2. Those who used the service in fiscal year 2025 should take action by referring to "Required Actions for 2025 Users" below.

Required Actions for 2025 Users

1. Personal use license

  • Please complete the following by the end of Sunday, March 29, 2026.
    For the procedure, please see the Adobe Account Migration Manual(Japanese only).
    • Data backup (relocating files saved in Adobe Cloud*)
    • Log out from Adobe apps
  • If you wish to continue using the service in fiscal year 2026, please submit a separate license application.

2. Shared PC license

  • Please complete the following by the end of Monday, May 18, 2026.
    • Data backup (relocating files saved in Adobe Cloud*)
       Method: Access the Adobe website, and download and save important files. Example: [Files] > [Your files]
  • If you wish to continue using the service in fiscal year 2026, please submit a separate application.

Adobe Cloud Storage is a storage service for keeping personal files created or synchronized with Adobe software.
This is a service that can be used optionally under Adobe ETLA and is separate from (unrelated to) Google Drive or Box.
