New Box Account Registration for Individual Use
Keio has ended its institution-wide educational subscription for Box.
As a result, users who had previously used Box with their Keio ID (an email address in the @keio.jp domain) were, due to operational circumstances on the part of Box, unable to create a new Box account using the same email address after the institution-wide subscription ended.
As of late September 2026, users can now sign up for a new Box account and use Box under an individual plan or other available plans.
Using Box under an Individual Plan
If you wish to use Box under an individual plan or other available plans, please sign up for a new account through the Box website.
Notes
- Keio's institution-wide educational subscription for Box has ended, and Box services are no longer provided under this subscription.
- A newly created Box account is separate from the Box account that was previously used under Keio's institution-wide subscription.
