How to change the contact information when sending e-mail

Please check and change each of them according to your own means of sending and receiving e-mail (Webmail, e-mail software, e-mail application, etc.).


Gmail

Outlook

Please refer to "Edit a Contact" (Microsoft's page).

Thunderbird

  • From the top menu: [Tools] - [Address Book] to launch "Address Book".
  • Check the addresses in the "Address Book" and modify or delete them as appropriate.
    • The "Personal Address Book" and a "Collected Address" are standard. The "Personal Address Book" is the address that is added by clicking on the star of the sender's name in a message. The "Collected Address" is automatically created by Thunderbird based on mail sent on your current computer.
    • You can create an "Mailing List (Mozilla's page)" as a sub-list in the "Address Book". Check the addresses in the Address List and modify or delete them as necessary.

Contacts are stored in the People application.
