  2. Can I use [Notices] to directly contact an individual student, such as by sending an email to their personal address?
  3. When I press the Register button after introducing contents of the notice, the message "Entered content is defective. * Enter 2,000 bytes or less of class material" is displayed.

1. How do students find out about the information I registered on the [Notices] page?

To check notices, each student must log into the "Class Support". Remember that students do not receive any notification via email or any other means.

2. Can I use [Notices] to directly contact an individual student, such as by sending an email to their personal address?

The notice function allows you to post text in [Class support] for students in your course. If you want to send a message to individual students, use the message function. See How to use messages for the procedure.

3. When I press the Register button after introducing contents of the notice, the message "Entered content is defective. * Enter 2,000 bytes or less of class material" is displayed.

Because UTF-8 is used as the character code, single byte alphabet and numerals are calculated as 1 byte, Japanese hiragana and katakana and many ideographs as 3 bytes, and returns as 2 bytes. After checking this condition, change the contents and register the notice.
